With Mother’s Day coming up this Sunday, Mum and I thought we’d show you our gift ideas. And in the process, my Mum has been treated to a few beauty bits too!

Mum always says that she likes to receive beauty tools as gifts as they last longer than most products. So she was thrilled to unwrap the Aquis Lisse Luxe Hair Turban! Mum and I both have quite frizzy hair naturally, so the Aquis Lisse Luxe Hair Turban will come in handy as it absorbs water and allows you to dry your hair with less friction, minimising frizz and damage. I can see myself borrowing this one!

Another beauty tool I am gifting Mum this Mother’s Day might seem like a bit of a weird one, but she’s wanted one for the longest time. It’s a Hollywood Browzer! Ever since I reviewed the Hollywood Browzer on the blog Mum has been talking about how she needs one of these incredible beauty tools. For me, I think this tool is one of the most useful tools I have ever had in my collection and Mum can’t wait to try hers. You can read more about the Hollywood Browzer HERE.

Next on the hair front, Mum is so excited to try some products from one of my favourite brands; Grow Gorgeous. This little Three Steps to Gorgeous kit is adorable! Inside you’ll find a mini of the Scalp Detox Pre-Wash treatment, the 11-in-1 Cleansing Conditioner and the Hair Serum. I have raved about Grow Gorgeous in the past (here and here if you want to take a look) and so I’m so excited for Mum to finally try this brilliant brand.

If there is one product of mine Mum has admired in the past, it is my Jo Malone candles. In fact, if she had told me sooner I would have brought her one for Christmas. We popped along to the Jo Malone store & picked out the English Oak & Redcurrant candle together and she’s so excited to get burning it!

Back to the beauty… There have been a couple of products Mum has asked me about for a while now. She’s wanted to know which shower gel I have been liking & which bodycream to invest in. So, for Mother’s Day I thought I’d introduce her to a couple of my favourites; the Sukin Botanical Body Wash and the Mama Mio Fragrance Free Tummy Rub Butter. As Mums skin can be quite sensitive I thought this pair would be a good option. I am already half way through my Sukin Botanical Body Wash and would recommend it to anyone. The product is An S.L.S and S.L.E.S free (meaning it’s better for your skin) and is enriched with aromatic botanicals, jojoba, avocado and rosehip oils to help soften and hydrate the skin. I have been raving about the Mama Mio Fragrance Free Tummy Rub Butter to Mum for a while. This product is not only for Mum’s to be, but can be used by anyone! Inside you’ll find Omega 3, 6 and 9 to help build elasticity and organic Coconut, Avocado, Sasha Inchi, Olive, Rosehip, Argan, Sweet Almond Oils & Shea Butter for hydration.

Another range I have wanted Mum to try for a while is Hempz beauty. I thought that as her skin is sensitive this paraben free, gluten free, 100% vegan, THC free & harsh sulphate free range would be right up her street. The Blushing Grapefruit & Rasberry Crème is a beautifully sweet and sharp scent, not to mention the stunning packaging. Mum can’t wait to try this range; she’s been saving it for this weekend!

With Mums’s skin being sensitive if she does want to wear makeup it normally has to be mineral. So this set from Mii Cosmetics is perfect. Inside you’ll discover the power of mineral makeup; breathable, full coverage & simple to use. You’ll receive 2 full sized brushes, an Irresistible Face Base (the brands 100% pure mineral foundation), 2 x Exquisite Eye Colours (all 100% natural) and a Radiant Natural Blush (again 100% pure mineral).

Also on the body front, Mum can’t wait to dig into the Faith in Nature Coconut Gift Set. This set is every natural beauty lovers dream! You’ll get a Faith in Nature Wash Bag, Coconut Shower Gel, Coconut Hand Wash and Coconut Body Lotion. As I said, with Mums skin being so sensitive, I think she’ll love these products as they are made with 100% natural fragrance, packed with essential oils and are free from parabens and SLS. I have talked about my favourite products from the range in THIS post.

From all natural beauty to a high tech beauty tool! Mum couldn’t believe it when she unwrapped the BeGlow Tia All-In-One Sonic Skin Care System. This space-age 3-in-1 skin perfecting gadget from Look Fantastic is great for cleansing, anti-ageing and ‘DualPulse’ contouring. Think of this as a Foreo cleansing device on steroids.

For that extra pamper, I wrapped up some gorgeous gifts from Leighton Denny. I popped together the Tropical Treat Manicure Spa, the Sole Relief Foot Soak & the Smooth Your Sole Foot File . The Tropical Treat Manicure Spa uses Hibiscus extract, rich in AHAs, to smooth and gently exfoliate hands. The Sole Relief Foot Soak & the Smooth Your Sole Foot File will give Mum the chance to have a serious pamper & get her feet nice and soft too.

Mum has been saying to me for a while that she wants to get back into taking care of her nails. So I picked out the Jessica at Home Kit with Sweet Breath Custom Colour. This kit will let any Mum start from scratch with their nails & truly take care of them whilst giving them a beautiful manicure. Inside the pretty bag you’ll find the Hand & Body Moisturising Emulsion, a mini Phenomen Oil (which is one of my hero products, I wrote a whole post on it here), the Nourish pot, Brilliance (Top Coat), Custom Colour Sweet Breath & Mini nail file.

As Mum is looking to take a leap into the nail world, I really wanted her to try a product that would let her try out a gel type manicure as home. So the Colour Dip from Red Carpet Manicure was the perfect product. The Nail Colour Dipping Powder system lets you try a easy to do & quick manicure that lasts up to 21 days.  I can’t wait for Mum to be able to create an intense, long lasting, vibrant manicure with this super simple starter kit.

Last on the pamper list is the Kérastase Reflection Touche Chromatique Cool Blonde & Masque Chromatique Now this is kind of a joint present. I have been wanting to try these two products for a while, to help remove some of the brassy tones from my balayage, whilst also nourishing my locks. And Mum has been thinking of removing some of the red from her hair – so hopefully she’ll let me share this one!
