Now if you read Made From Beauty regularly, you’ll know I don’t shy away from spending a pretty penny on my skincare. For me, skincare has always been one of the most important parts of my beauty routine. If I have great skin then I’m not too worried about makeup, it just makes me feel great going bare faced!
So I might not be the first person to seek out affordable skincare, but recently I have found a range that is so good. You might remember I wrote about the My Hair Matters from Sainsbury’s a little while ago (you can read this post HERE if not) and now the supermarket have released My Skin Matters. My Skin Matters is a super affordable skinner range (think products from £1.50 to £6.00) that actually work.
When it comes to a makeup remover there is one thing that can easily make one product stand out from the rest; it has to actually remove my makeup easily. That might not sound like a difficult task, but you wouldn’t believe how many products fall at that first hurdle. So when I tried out the My Skin Matters Purifying Cleansing Milk , I couldn’t have been happier with the results. It removed my makeup quickly, whilst keeping my skin moisturised and soft.
Then I have also been trying the My Skin Matters Day Cream Anti-Age SPF15. I didn’t actually realise how much I loved this day cream until I found myself reaching for it again and again. This cream is rich in shea butter to make it super nourishing and has UVA/UVB absorbers – so basically everything you want in a face cream! The best part? This product is only £4.00! I can’t actually believe the price, it really is an exceptional product for that price.
I have also had the My Skin Matters Hand & Nails Cream in my handbag for the past month and am so into it. This hand cream helps to hydrate & restore dry, cracked hands. I have found that although this product gives instant relief, it doesn’t really repair seriously dry skin. Although I will use up the rest of the tube, I can’t see myself repurchasing.
So will you be trying any products from the My Skin Matters at Sainsbury’s? Let me know in the comments below!
