Made From Beauty Southampton Bloggers Meetup Goody Bag CoverI’m really making a feature out of this Southampton blogger meetup aren’t I? If you’ve been to Made From Beauty recently you would have already seen my previous posts surrounding the event (but if not here’s my ‘What I Wore’ and ‘The Event’ posts). Today is the last post about the meetup, and we’re finishing with a goodin’ – the goody bag!

Now I haven’t been quite as organised as other bloggers and photographed each and ever item, I have instead picked some bits out of the giant bundle to share with you today. If you want to check out the whole three bags worth (yes I said THREE) then might I direct you to Alice’s Instagram photo – which features each and every product, press release and discount we were lucky enough to receive.

Now I’m going to start with my favourite…A 20% off discount code for London Fashion Weekend Bronze and Silver tickets. I am delighted to say that I raced home and brought mine online as soon as my fingertips touched my Mac. I am so excited to go! I am going on the Sunday to a Maybelline New York talk, a designer show and a fashion bloggers panel afterwards.

But let’s dig into the products shall we?

Now there’s no doubt that the bags were full to the brim to exciting products, but something I wasn’t expecting was there to be just so many products I’ve never tried before (bad beauty blogger right here)!

Made From Beauty Southampton Bloggers Meetup Goody Bag Weleda

First on the massive list of new products are these from Weleda. The company sent along minis of their Lavender Relaxing Body Oil, Pomegranate Body Lotion, Citrus Creamy Body Wash, Sea Buckthorn Body Lotion, Wild Rose Smoothing Night Cream, Millet Nourishing Shampoo and Pomegranate Firming Serum. I haven’t tried anything from Weleda before, so I am excited to get stuck into these beauties.

Made From Beauty Southampton Bloggers Meetup Goody Bag Jurlique

Now onto one of my bag favourites, the Jurlique goodies; their Restorative Treatment Serum and Calming Mist. I have tried products from Jurlique before and really loved them, so I can see myself liking these sweet minis too.

I was also excited to see a full size bottle of the St.Moriz Self Tanning Mouse. I am still yet to try a tan by this brand (what was I saying about being a bad beauty blogger?), despite people raving about its natural colour and easy application. I wouldn’t normally pick up a mouse fake tan, as I normally favour the lotions, so this will be a welcome change! I’ll keep you guys updated on this one shall I?

Made From Beauty Southampton Bloggers Meetup Goody Bag Lipcote

I am actually a little ashamed to admit I haven’t ever tried this next product, the Lipcote – this product has been on shelves for years and years! Probably decades! But to be perfectly honest, it hadn’t caught my attention really, but the quest for the longest-lasting lip colour continues, so maybe this could be the product that I’ve been searching for?

Made From Beauty Southampton Bloggers Meetup Goody Bag Nair

Prepare yourselves for an epic fail…but I’m going to try at home waxing. Yep, you heard me. To be honest, the idea fills me with terror, but with such a beautiful (and seemingly easy) product as this Nair Argan Oil Body Wax, what could really go wrong? Are you an at home waxer? If so, please leave your advice for newbies in the comments below!

Another product I hadn’t tried before was the Ginger & Co Hand It To Me Dreamy Handcream. In my excitement, I cracked this one out on the train home, and I can honestly say I an in love! A citrus cream that sinks into paws easy peasy, without any horrible residue and makes everything nice and moisturised, nourished and smooth.

Made From Beauty Southampton Bloggers Meetup Goody Bag Nanshy

I was also so happy to find the Nanshy Precise Bent Eyeliner Brush in its little satin pouch sat in the bottom of my bag. I have wanted to try a bent liner brush for the longest time, but couldn’t bring myself to part with my cash for something I didn’t know I could use.

There were also some great goodies from Chill*, Benefit and Bee Good.

But it wasn’t all about the beauty, there was also some yummy treats packed into our bags too. Tasty drinks from Virtue Ice Tea and Vita Coco (my favourite) as well as naughty sweeties from Hotel Chocolat and Jelly Belly.

I was also lucky enough to win a hammer from Oloves in the event raffle (check out yesterdays post for a reaction shot). In loads of tasty flavours such as Chili and Garlic, Basil and Garlic, as well as Lemon and Rosemary; Josh and I have already started tucking into these, and I can say hands down: they are DELICIOUS!

I also came away with gift bags from the brands ESPA and Hairfinity, who were both at the event running competitions and giving consultations. Hairfinity kindly gifted each blogger a bottle of their hair vitamins (healthy, long hair here I come) and ESPA gave away mini trial sets to give us each a chance to try out product selected for our skin type.

Phew…that was a long one, wasn’t it? So back to normal beauty posting tomorrow, see you then!
