What I Wore to the Southampton Bloggers Meet Up

Yesterday I went to my first bloggers meet up, the Southampton Bloggers Event. It was a great afternoon with lots of laughs and fun – but more on the actual event tomorrow.

With a big event aged of me I decided to purchase a new outfit and so here’s what I wore:

On the bottom I stuck with jeans as I wanted to be nice and comfy. For a slimming effect I went for skinny ASOS Ridley jeans in a dark wash with a knee rip. I’ve raved about these jeans for a while, but they are honestly the best I’ve ever tried. High waisted, with a good amount of stretch and thickness.

On the top I went for another ASOS number. This off the shoulder top was just what I was after, light and floaty for the hot weather and simple yet with a little something extra. I’m not normally a fan of the off the shoulder design, but with this top I found it really flattering because of the criss cross detailing.

On my feet I wore my Topshop pointed flats that I mentioned in this post. Also, I popped on this simple gold bracket and sunglasses from Primark. To finish the look off, I chose the Rimmel Salon Pro Nails Polish in Oh! Mr Darcy for something a little understated. I carried my ASOS satchel as if was big enough to hold my DSLR and other bits and bobs I took with me.
