Getting this body beach ready is gonna be a bit of a challenge, so I’m starting with moisturiser. My theory is inject a bit of hydration and no one will notice my pastey limbs!
As I’m going through moisturisers like they’re going out of fashion at this time of year, I’m always up for a bit of cash saving. So if there’s a product that can get the job done at a lower price – I’m in!
I’ve swapped out two of my favourite body products for two cheaper options and loving it! I’ll let you in on my secrets…
I’ve been a fan of the Vaseline Spray and Go moisturisers for a while but at £3.99 (190ml) a pop, they are a little pricey to be using several times a day. So when I saw the Superdrug Vitamin E 360° Spray On All Over Body Lotion at only £1.99 (normally £3.99 for 200ml) I thought I’d give it a go.
Now I know it’s not a massive saving if you purchase this at full price, but there’s regularly offers on Superdrugs bodycare – another reason why I love that store!
The main reason why I love the Vaseline Spray and Go moisturisers is because of their time saving, fast absorbing ways (you can ready my full review here). Just a few quick sprays, smooth the product into the skin and pow! It’s absorbed! So get ready…because the Superdrug Vitamin E 360° Spray On All Over Body Lotion is even quicker!
The formula is a little thinner, which sounds like a bad thing, but actually just means that it’s even quicker to work into the skin, for fast moisture that lasts all day. You’ll have to move quickly if you want to get your hands on this one though, Superdrug have told me it’s been discontinued! Really frustrating as it’s a great product! I know I’ll be stocking up!
Another product I’ve been saving on is body butter. I love body butters and use them all year round. My favourite has to be the Soap and Glory Righteous Butter. It’s sweet smelling hydration lasts all day and oh so luxurious to apply. But at £10.00 a pot, it can get expensive going through one or two a month. When I ran out of the Righteous Butter, I went on the hunt for something a little more affordable and found the Superdrug Vitamin E All Over Body Cream.
When I first used the Vitamin E All Over Body Cream, I must admit, I wasn’t wowed. It’s a virtually unscented, white cream – nothing special. I was also a little disappointed to find that it was thinner than my usual body butters.
So would you consider swapping one of your most loved, but pricey body products for a cheaper alternative? Let me know in the comments below!

I was just thinking the other day that I need a spray lotion – I can never get to my back and the other half isn’t always inclined to assist. I’ve been thinking of trying the Vaseline version (I’m not in the UK so no Super Drug) but I might see what generic alternatives there are out there.

I would recommend a spray moisturiser for the back yeah! I really like the Vaseline version, pretty much always have one kicking about somewhere! They have been lots released in the past couple of years so I think you’ll find quite a few at the drugstore!
