I’ve been adding a few little treasures into my space recently and have been blown away by how much they have improved my mood. Just by collating a couple of pieces that make you smile each day can really make you feel better about your bedroom or living room. In fact, I am really happy with where I am décor wise at the moment; apart from the fact I would love to add a room diffuser into the mix. But, otherwise, I am so happy with the pieces I have picked out, so I wanted to share them with you today.
The first home accessory I have been loving is a jewellery stand. I picked mine up from H&M a little while ago, but you can find these in lots of places. Rather than having my jewellery tucked away in a drawer and never wearing it, I love having everything on display.
Along the same lines; I have been loving little catch-all dishes I have dotted around my home. They are great for keeping earrings safe when I take them off, great for keys by the door and even help me keep check of my hairclips (normally something that always goes missing).
I also checked out my local charity shops for unique pieces and managed to find some real gems! I picked up this stunning wicker vase for only a couple of pounds and have been loving the cosy feel it gives a room with these pampas grass stems. The next absolute steal I came across in a charity shop was these two pink marble book ends that I paid only £1.50 for! As you’ll know if you read this post, I have been trying to keep things a bit more orgianised in my bedroom, so these bookends were the perfect addition to the space. They were such a great find for the price; they really brighten my day with their perfect millennial pink hue and keep my current reading list organised in my bedroom.
As I said at the beginning of the post, I am very happy with the new additions I have made but I do need some new home fragrance in my life! So, if you have any suggestions I would love to hear them in the comments below. It has been such a long time since I have updated you all on my home, in fact I think it was all the way back in July 2017 in this post, so please let me know if you would like the occasional post like this on Made From Beauty.
