Animal print is absolutely everywhere this season. You’ll find a splash of leopard or snake print all over the highstreet at the moment & I have to admit: I love it! In this post, I have styled one of my absolute favourite pieces; the animal print dress.
The idea of going head to toe in one loud, slightly out-there print might sound scary, but it really is one of the season’s hottest trends. I had been eyeing up a lot of different animal print dresses, but totally fell in love with this simple & classic style from Boohoo. As a fan of shirts & shirt-dresses, I really loved the button down detailing & collar on this dress. But it was the colour of the print that really drew me in. A lot of the dresses I had seen featured lots of different colours in their prints, which can make them difficult to style. So, going for this dress, which is more muted, made it super easy to style.
As I am just getting used to wearing animal print, I styled my dress very classically. I went for a simple leather look jacket, which let’s be honest: goes with everything, & simple black ankle boots. For my accessories, as I kept most of the outfit simple, I was able to have a little more fun. I went for a burgundy small shoulder bag with acrylic detailing & big gold hoops.
