So I know we are officially in Autumn now, but just before I launch into cosy jumpers, hydrating masks & hot chocolates on the blog; I wanted to go over a few products I have been trying out towards the end of the season.

I was so excited when I saw Look Fantastic had started stocking Burberry Makeup! Burberry beauty has been notoriously hard to get hold of in the UK for a few years now but that doesn’t mean their formula’s aren’t form hunting down. I have been using their Fresh Glow Foundation day after day as the weather started to get cooler. This foundation is everything I wish Nars Sheer Glow had been. It is light to medium coverage, with crushed pearls for some serious luminosity.

When it comes to skincare, I have been getting seriously high maintenance & have started using some little tools I picked up from eBay. I had had a jade roller in the past, but I can’t work out where it went, so I grabbed myself another one at a super affordable price. When looking for the roller, I also came across a flat ‘jade’ facial massager. Am I sure both of these are real jade? Maybe not, but for the price they have been a nice addition. I have been using them to help depute my undereyes & drain fluids from the face that can make you look puffy.

I mentioned in my post yesterday (HERE) that I have been using lots of different cleansers recently. One I have tried is the CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser. Whilst I don’t mind the formula of this cleanser, I just don’t think it is for my skin. However, my mum who has very sensitive skin, has gone on quite well with the CeraVe range as a whole. So if you’re struggling with sensitive, dry, itching or red skin then this range might be great for you.

I know I have said a lot about the Clinique Dramatically Different Hydrating Jelly here on the blog; but it is only because it’s such a great product. I have now made my way through most of this bottle & couldn’t be happier with the results. The jelly has kept my skin hydrated, soft & fairly clear (even around that time of the month – winning). The formula is really lightweight, so it’s great for loads of different skin types. One paper, I wouldn’t have said it would be the best product for my skin. My skin is really dry by nature, and only seems to be getting dryer the older I get. So normally I do for thick creams, heavy serums & traditionally thicker formulas. The only problem? I have found these formulas then break me out, because they are too heavy (talk about fickle skin?!). So finding a formula like the Clinique Dramatically Different Hydrating Jelly has actually been a life saver. This jelly delivers on hydration, without clogging pores, whilst plumping up my skin beautifully.

A new in product I have been trying out is the Yves Saint Laurent The Curler Mascara. Now, I might have only tried this product a handful of times, but I can safely say that I am in love. Think big, fluttery lashes that last & last! Definitely my current mascara fav! The brush on this mascara does take a little getting used to, as it is really curved; but after the first use I had mastered the art quite quickly. The wand is also pink, like bright pink – which scared me at first as I thought I had got a pink lash primer, turns out; it’s just a packaging gimmick. The mascara is actually totally jet black & stays that way throughout the day, something I’m always looking for in a mascara.

I can’t wait to show you guys more of the products I am using at this time of year. I’ve really been changing up my makeup & skincare recently. I’m currently trying out some new products from Dermalogica, Shea Moisture, Lime Crime & Dr Dennis Gross. Let me know in the comments below if you’d like to see more about my current makeup or skincare routine.
