5 Products Worth Investing In

When it comes to beauty products, I am the first to offer up affordable options & ways to save your cash when hitting the high street. But, even with all penny-pinching good intentions I have, there are still 5 products I would 100% say are worth the investment.

The Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder – £36

The Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder Review

The first of which has to be the Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder. I have written a mini review of this powder over on my Instagram (HERE), so head on over there if you want to know more. But basically, the Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder is probably the best powder I have ever used. The super finely-milled powder manages to softly matte the skin, whilst still keeping your overall glow. It has brilliant staying power, blurs lines or imperfections and still looks like skin, without going cakey. Perfect.

Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel Bronzing Makeup Base – £40

Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel Bronzing Makeup Base Review

I recently spoke about my new found love for the Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel Bronzing Makeup Base (which may or may not reignite every summer) in THIS post. The reason why I think this cream bronzer is such brilliant value for money is that I have never finished one of these pots. It’s my go-to bronzer for the warmer months, as the tone mimics a natural tan & it blends seamlessly.

Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream -£99

Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream Review

Normally I’m not a fan of spending a lot on moisturisers, I prefer to spend my money on serums and treatments, but I will always make the exception for the Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream. Can this cream fix dull skin? Yes it can. Can this cream fix dry skin? Yes it can. Think of it as the Bob The Builder of the skincare world; able to fix any problem in a flash.

Nuxe Dry Oil Huile Prodigieuse – £29

Nuxe Dry Oil Huile Prodigieuse Review

Whilst I wouldn’t actually consider the price of this oil to categorise it as an investment, I know it’s more than most would like to spend on something for the body. For me, the Nuxe Dry Oil Huile Prodigieuse is one of my holy grail products & I’ve gone through so many I don’t dare to think! The whole experience of this oil is what draws me back in time after time; the scent, the way it sinks in, the multi-purpose use, the glass spray bottle, the way it leaves my skin glowing & hydrated – just perfection.

Vita Liberata Body Blur Instant HD Skin Finish – £29.95

Vita Liberata Body Blur Instant HD Skin Finish Review

Now would I really like to spend my money on an instant fake tan? Probably not. But does my skin need an instant fake tan? Absolutely. In my opinion, if you’re going to spend your money on body makeup then look no further than the Vita Liberata Body Blur Instant HD Skin Finish. Medium is the perfect colour every single time, it’s easy to apply, it wears all day & never transfers onto my clothes – so really it does everything I need it to & for me, that’s enough to get a repurchase (again & again & again & again).

Do you have any products in your collection which are on the pricier side but are worth every penny to you? I’d love to hear your recommendations in the comments below!
