I don’t know about you guys, but the heat in the UK is really getting to me. In typical British fashion, I’ve mentioned how hot it’s been in THIS blog post & THIS Instagram post in the past few days and how much I am struggling to keep any makeup on my face. So for those of us who aren’t quite confident enough to sport a bare face in the summer, today I have 4 products that I can 100% guarantee will be completely budge proof – even in 33° heat.
Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation
First up, you have to get your base totally locked in with a seriously hard wearing foundation. And when it comes to hard wearing foundations, nothing is as bullet proof as the Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation. The way I like to make sure this foundation lasts & lasts is to apply 2 light layers. Although All Nighter is a heavy coverage, thick foundation, I have found that sticking to the 2 light layers is best for making it look more natural & for its staying power.
Bareminerals Bare Pro Concealer
Elsewhere base-wise I’m just going to throw the Bareminerals Bare Pro Concealerout there again. I love this concealer so much I wrote a whole post on it HERE, and as I said in that post boy is this stuff great. Not only does the Bareminerals Bare Pro Concealermanage to still look natural, whilst giving some serious coverage, but it also has incredible staying power for a stick product.
Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen
Now, if you can be bothered with actual eyeshadow during the summer months then you’re a better person than me. Normally on the super hot days I totally skip the lid colour altogether; it’s just too much faff. But, if you are someone who really likes to add a pop of colour on the eyes during the summer (it does look beautiful despite the faff) then I would suggest forgoing the powder shadow & picking up an eyeliner instead. I think most of us know that liners tend to last longer than powder colours, so really it’s a no-brainier. The liners I have been reaching for to scribble across my lids, smudge out & marvel at their longevity are the Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pens.

When it comes to locking everything in place, a summer makeup look wouldn’t be complete without the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.
