As it is, here in England you can actually get most beauty products now. Yet, there are still a few beauty items I would recommend picking up on your summer holidays. Sometimes products are cheaper overseas, some products are only avilible out of the country and others only come in deluxe sizes elsewhere. So if you’re heading overseas this summer, then here are a few products to pick up whilst you’re away…
Sephora Sheet Masks
The UK is now overrun by sheet masks options. But back in the day you could only get the Asian skincare cult products in well, Asia or in Sephora. I would still recommend popping into a Sephora if you’re near one for their sheet mask collection. Normally the beauty department store has great deals if you buy more than one mask & they always wrap them up in a cute pick n mix style bag.
Nuxe Reve de Miel Lip Balm
French brands such as Nuxe, Avene, Caudalie and La Roche Posay are normally cheaper in their home country. So if you’re heading to a French pharmacy this summer then make sure to pick up the Nuxe Reve de Miel Lip Balm. The last time I was in France I stocked up on this lip balm because it is my favourite and, wait for it…they came in multi-packs! Multi-packs!
Bioderma Sensibio H2O Solution
Would a trip to Europe be complete for a beauty addict without picking up a bottle of the Bioderma Sensibio H2O Solution? Probably not. Again, now the UK has huge amounts of choice in the Micellar Water category, but I still think Bioderma make one of the best. I have decanted a lot of my bigger bottle of Bioderma into these smaller bottles for ease of travel too.
Tom Ford Lip Colour in Spanish Pink
Not strictly something to pick up when you are actually out of the country, but if you are heading through duty free make sure you check out if they have a Tom Ford counter. Despite being desperately in love with every Tom Ford product I have ever tried, I really struggle with the price tag. Tom Ford beauty rarely comes into the sale in the UK, so picking a couple of bits up in duty free might be your best chance of a good saving.
Summer Friday’s Jet Lag Mask
If you’re going to America this year, please do not come back without a tube of the Summer Friday’s Jet Lag Mask (and one for me too please). This hydrating mask is the Instagram beauty product of the moment & rumour has it the formula is pretty good too.
