I’m loving chilly winter walks recently. There’s something lovely about getting all wrapped up and pottering about in the local highstreet or somewhere you’ve never been before.
So last week Josh and I went on a little winter adventure to the local town of Lymington. I have family that live in the sea side town, so although I know my way around very well, Josh has never been there before. It was fun being able to show him all the different places I remember going to as a child, the pubs I’d drank in with friends, the cute shops that I’ve always loved and the ever changing highstreet.
Although Lymington has changed a lot in recent years, there are still some hidden gems for a blustery walk, like the marina.
It was also the perfect time to try out my new ASOS coat as it was so cold with pretty strong winds. I can safely say, this coat is one of the warmest things you could invest in!
For makeup I keep things simple, going for the bareMinerals Complexion Rescue on the skin with a little of the Soap and Glory Solar Powder dusted lightly on the cheeks. On the lids I didn’t want anything too fussy to used a mixture of shades from my MAC palette, using Charcoal Brown on an angled liner brush along the last line. I had been wearing a little of Charlotte Tilbury’s Bitch Perfect on my lips earlier in the day, but stupidly forgot to pack it!
Have you visited anywhere new recently? Do you enjoy wintery walks too? Let me know in the comments below!
