When the weekend rolls around I regularly go makeup free. I like to let my skin breathe and give it a rest from all the products I pile on throughout the week. But there is the odd Saturday that I want a little something to even out my skin and give me a brighter look; and recently I’ve been turning to the Garnier Skin Perfector Daily All-In-One B.B. Blemish Balm Cream in Medium for just that!
I’m not normally one to turn to Garnier for products; I haven’t been blown away by their skincare in the past and normally I would steer clear of drugstore BB creams as they’ve never worked for me before. It was only because I was tightening my purse strings this month that I thought to try this product, but I’m glad I did.
The BB cream offers a skin tint, not really coverage, but enough to make me seem more awake that is lightweight and easy to apply. The cream dries to a semi-matte finish, which again wouldn’t be something I’m normally go for, but as I love to load up on the skincare at the weekends, I’ve found I can actually wear a facial oil under this product giving me just enough glow, whilst looking after my skin.
Unfortunately the Skin B.B. Blemish Balm Cream only comes in two shades, Light and Medium. I’m working with the Medium as I have olive skin, however its a little too dark for me, so next time I might try the Light. It’s not a very good shade range, but I find I can get away with it as the tint is subtle enough for no one to notice the shade difference.
The one I picked up has SPF 21, which is a bonus (although I wear separate SPF under it). But looking online, I think Garnier may have changed the formulation as the Skin Perfector B.B. Blemish Balm Creams have SPF 15 – so I’m not sure whats going on there guys!
All in all, I think this is a great budget friendly option if you’re looking for sheer coverage that will perk skin up, smooth over blemishes and the odd fine line.
Have you tried the Garnier Skin B.B. Blemish Balm Cream? I’d love to know if you liked it too, let me know in the comments below!

This does sound lovely but I do hate the fact bb creams only ever come in two or three shades! xxx

For the price I was pleasantly surprised! I know, like why? Even just 4 shades, 6 at a push and this could be one of the best bases out there!

This bb cream sounds really good, your pictures demonstrate it well! I find it hard to find a bb cream to match my skin tone but I will definitely check this out, I always love to try out new products. x
