Ok so I know it’s not winter, and I know we shouldn’t be talking about winter products just yet, but with the weather so bad in the UK at the moment, a good cosy night in pamper is in order.
I love products that make me feel relaxed, cosy and warm after a long chilly day in rainy England. If you’re with me, then keep reading for five of my too products I’ve been reaching for in the cold evenings…
The Body Shop Warming Mineral Mask
When we’re talking about warming up, this product really brings it! The self-warming mask was a little alarming at first; it’s a strange sensation having a face mask start to warm up as you wear it! But once you’re used to it, this is a great all-rounder kind of mask. It helps clear pores by opening them as it warms, clears away dirt and pollutants, whilst still keeping skin in a good balance. This isn’t my most kick-ass mask, but its great for the chilly weather and could easily be used twice a week to help keep skin clear.
The NUXE Huile Prodigieuse Dry Oil
I love body oils all year round, but when its drizzly outside all I want to do is slather myself in the NUXE Huile Prodigieuse Oil. I love the scent as it reminds me of summer, and there’s no doubt that this product really nourishes the skin – perfect for a pamper night.
The Trilogy CoQ10 Booster Serum
Talking of oils, this Trilogy one is my favourite for my face at the moment. Although called a serum, its really an oil, so it has plenty of ‘slip’ to give yourself a good facial massage. I’ve only been using this product for the past couple of weeks, so I’m nearly ready to give my full review (keep an eye out for that one).
The Rimmel Salon Pro Nail Polish in Soul Session
Nothing says ‘relaxing’ to me more that painting my nails. It’s just one of life’s little pleasures for me, and I love to take ten, fifteen minuets to snuggle down with a cuppa and my favourite shade of the moment. I have been gravitating towards Soul Session more and more recently; a dusky, rose nude, as goes with everything and I love the no-fuss formula too.
The Toni and Guy Reconstruction Mask
Who isn’t looking for a nourishing hair mask that leaves hair healthy and manageable? Some hair masks often leave my hair weighed down, greasy and lank but this Toni & Guy number has really hit it on the head. I will normally jump in the shower really quickly, shampoo my hair, then pop this product on and wrap my hair in a towel to let it really soak in whilst I paint my nails or hop into the bath for a little while.
With these products thrown into the mix it would be easy for me to have pamper night every night, but at the moment I manage to squeeze them in about once a week. What about you? Are there any cosy pamper products you reach for when the weather takes a turn for the worse? Let me know in the comments below!
