Yesterday we actually had full blown tropical weather in the UK (well as tropical as we get here). There was lots of sun, barely any breeze and so so hot. Now looking out my window and seeing it absolutely chucking it down now seems to make this post a little strange, but here goes anyway…
Josh and I took a trip to a local ice cream parlour (post coming soon) and then a walk around the local park. It really was too hot for clothes! So I picked out my ASOS Cami Pom Pom Sundress as its cool and breezy for the warmer weather. I love this dress a lot, but it is a tad on the see through side, so I wear a slip under it to save my modesty and because I’m old!
As I’m not a fan of showing my arms I also popped on my Dorothy Perkins kimono. I love the lace on the sleeves of this kimono, adding a little bit of interest to the look.
I didn’t get a full length shot of my outfit, but I wore my white and coral Primark sandals. I also carried my Zara Fold Over red and pink bag to give the outfit some colour, you can see my full review of this bag here.
So what are you up to this weekend? And if you’re in the UK did you do something fun in the good weather? Let me know in the comments below!
