Welcome to my first ‘Week in Outfits’ post! Just a quick run down of my outfits over the past five days. My week consisted of an interview, a trip to the cinema and a day of shopping, so I’m afraid no wild fashion choices or party dresses! If this is something you guys like on Made From Beauty I’ll keep snapping and hopefully share a few more posts like this.
I’ve tried to link the clothing and accessories mentioned, but as you’ll be able to tell, I haven’t been clothes shopping for a long time, so some things weren’t available anymore. Maybe next time I pick some outfits up I’ll post my ootd.
Monday:
The week started with an interview, so I picked out an outfit that was smart yet comfortable.
My top is from Primark, although it is a t-shirt shape, the fabric gives image top a more formal feel.
I also tucked it into my Marks and Spencer’s trousers which are the perfect fit and shape for my body type. Trust me, if your looking for a great pair of formal trousers and you have curves, Marks and Spencer’s is the place to head to!
I finished the look by adding a belt and simple black flats from H&M to keep the look polished. As I had to take my documentation with me I carried my ASOS satchel bag.
Tuesday:
Before work I decided to take a little wander around town so went for a casual, comfy look. I paired these black Primark trousers with a tomato red River Island top. It was a little overcast so I threw on my vintage leather jacket (this numbers been in my wardrobe for almost ten years!) I finished the look with my ASOS structured flats and the same satchel as Monday.
Wednesday:
My day off! So I went for a casual get up; a pair of ASOS Ridley Ripped Knee Jeans and a basketball style top from eBay. I love these jeans and they are hands down my favourite for my body type, high waisted with a little stretch, they are comfy and practical for everyday. I chucked on my Primark sunglasses as the weather was looking up, along with my Topshop white Birkenstock style sandals and an oversized black tote bag.
Thursday:
Off out to the cinema in the evening I put on something comfy but more evening with this Primark black tunic top and another pair of the ASOS Ridley jeans. I slipped on my Topshop pointed flats from a couple of years ago (and still going strong might I add) and a cross-body bag from Primark.
Friday:
On Friday I was going out with my mum after work, shopping, so I went for something I was happy being in all day. On the bottom I have a pair of khaki Dorothy Perkins trousers. I love the D buckle on these, it smartens them up and keeps them on trend without being too much. On the top I dug out this old Topshop snake print cami and threw over an ASOS black shirt and left it open. It was too hot for an actual jacket, but I’m not a fan of showing my arms so I love this trick when I want to wear a cami. The sandals are from Primark (I didn’t realise how much Primark I wear until writing this post!) and the bag is my favourite ASOS number from earlier in the week. If you’re wondering where I got those sunnies from – all the details are in this post!
So that’s just a quick run through of my week in outfits! I’d love to do a few more of these posts, maybe featuring more details like accessories and nail polish colours – so I’d love your feedback, let me know what you thought in the comments below.

I’d never have thought to look in M&S for trousers! I find it so hard to find a flattering pair, thanks for the tip! :) x
