I’m guilty of being someone that doesn’t accessorize all that much. Sure, I lug my ASOS satchel around with me everywhere I go – but that’s more necessity than anything.
I’m also the worst when it comes to jewellery. I like high quality, expensive pieces that I can wear for life, you know, the sort of rings and earrings that become more part of you than a conscious decision every morning.
So when I do pick up some pieces to just wear when and if I fancy I usually want something as cheap as chips that I can swap and change everyday. But if you think some Topshop necklaces can set you back £25 for a plastic chain, it can get a little ridiculous.
So when I stumbled across the Daisy and Delilah London range at Superdrug, I knew the jewellery God were smiley down on me! I seem to be finding lots of little gems at Superdrug at the moment, as you would have seen in yesterday’s post.
The Daisy and Delilah London pieces are really affordable, ranging from around £2.00 to £7.00 for larger items.
I was immediately drawn to this cute stack of rings with grey blue stones. I’ve been seeing a lot of these rings on the highstreet as well as in high end stores, so I was dying to try out the style. Something I love about the Daisy and Delilah London range is there isn’t any gaudy, bright gold plastic to be seen. These rings, for example, are fine enough to not look cheap or in your face. The pack comes with six so I like to wear four stacked together and keep a couple spare just in case.
The next item I picked up were these on trend marble, pastel studs. The pack comes with three sets of earrings, which is great value for money. The blue are my favourite, dainty enough for everyday, and the perfect addition to any weekend outfit. The final piece I picked up was something a little different for me, this gold hair band cuff. It’s a two hair band kinda thing, with this gold plate that moulds around the base of your ponytail. I had brought something very similar in silver from New Look a while back but I lost it before I could really wear it – that’s me all over! So I’m really happy to have this piece in my collection. I like to style this in a low ponytail, leaving a few pieces of hair out at the front, to frame my face. This sort of hair accessory is something we’ve seen on the catwalks of lots of designers for Spring/Summer this year, it’s like the grown ups hair piece! The Daisy and Delilah London range launched in Superdrug stores early February and these pieces can be found in your local store now – will you be checking them out? Let me know in the comments!

Like yourself I lack jewellery items, I also like to buy things which will last me a long time that become an everyday wear. My name is Tiffany so I am looking at investing in some Tiffany jewellery to match my name. I love your nails and Ofc the rings but your nail colour is spot on and your hair is super long. I have thick hair or lots of it so I am in Deffo need of one of those clips. I have not actually seen these in my superdrug yet but I shall keep my eyes peeled as I can see myself going on a shopping spree. Thank you for sharing, much love doll xx

Thanks for commenting Tiffany! Your right to think of doing that, Tiffany jewellery is to die for! My nail colour is new Barry M Peach For The Stars – I have a blog post on it too! The D and D London Rings are beautiful aren’t they? Thank you for saying lovely things about my hair! The clip is a great buy, I think it was £4! Yep, keep an eye out, the pieces are usually on a stand with the other jewellery brand Superdrug stocks, Urban Rocks! Thank you for reading! Xx
