I’m Sam and I’m a YSL addict. Welcome Sam.
Now I can’t afford to be a YSL addict, but I guess most drug addicts can’t afford heroin.
Well after that unexpected dark turn for a beauty blog, back to the makeup!
It all started with the Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat, as most addictions of a twenty something makeup lover do. This little gold wonder pen has been on my life for some time now and every morning I sit down to my vanity eager for my next hit.
Now I know there’s always been some confusion over the purpose of the Touche Éclat pens, only increased by YSL’s introduction of different skin tone shades a few years ago, but I’ve always known how to use the glorious clicky pen. I know, we were made for each other. I grew up reading Vogue, and was infatuated with the product as it graced its glossy pages. From a young age, around ten, I could wait to get my hands on its light inducing, fabulous ways. Now putting aside the fact that it took me almost a decade to introduce it into my daily rotation of makeup, now I have it, I’m hooked.
The Touche Éclat is designed to bring light to the face anywhere needed. Use it under the eyes, across the cheekbones, down the nose, around the mouth, your choice. I have the original pink tinted shade, which over concealer really brings light to everywhere it touches.
The YSL Touche Éclat really is a brilliant product and I would recommend it to anyone, of any age, with any skin tone ( as previously mentioned, there are now lots of shades), to use in any makeup look. So have you tried it? If so, let me know if you like it as much as I do, because I can’t wait for my next fix!
