Winter PerfumesI am crazy about perfume, if had it my way I’d have a huge collection that I could pick and choose from each day. I think scents can really make a difference to how you perceive people, it can make you seem sophisticated, cute or easy going, depending on the type you choose. I love my deep, warm scents and so today I thought I would share my current favourites.

My longest love has been the Giorgio Armani Code Femme eau de parfum, in fact I think that this was the second perfume I ever had (after Calvin Klein Euphoria, which is still a scent I like). With notes of orange blossom, honey, neroli and musk this scent really is up my street. For some reason I prefer to wear this perfume at night, and that goes all year round, there is something intoxicating about this smell on a long summers night! I am sad to say that I have about two spritzes left in this bottle. My love for this fragrance shows in the fact that I have been using it on and off for nearly seven years, and the thought of being without it this time actually brings on a little panic. Saving my pennies for another bottle and saving my last couple of sprays for my birthday early next month!Giorgio Armani Code Femme eau de parfum

Next is the newest addition to my collection, the Molecule 01 from Escentric Molecules, and what a delight it is. I had put off buying this product for so long because it isn’t available at a counter near me. Finally, after much enabling from ViviannaDoesMakeup and Lily Pebbles, I caved and brought it online, pretty risky for a perfume. What’s more risky is that this perfume doesn’t smell the same on everyone, it is designed to react to your natural pheromones to create a unique scent for you. Although the technology behind this scent is pretty cool, I think there are some similarities in each ‘unique scent’ despite your pheromones. On me it comes across rich in cedar wood and musk, to the point that with the first spritz it is almost like an aftershave. Within half and hour though, the scent mellows to a warm, spicy fragrance that lasts days and days on my skin.Molecule 01 Escentric Molecules

My last favourite has to be Stella by Stella McCartney, a classic. With top notes of rose, this is a slightly fresher scent, but its base notes of amber and mandarin give it that depth that I love. At the moment this is my everyday scent and I love layering it with the Molecule 01 for the evening.Stella McCartney Eau de Parfum

So let me know in the comments below what are your favourite fragrances at the moment. Also, I’d love to know your suggestions for summer scents; I’d like something sweeter but still warm?
