Today marks the one-month anniversary of MadeFromBeauty and I wanted to put together a little post to thank you all so much for your support.
That very hipster ‘unknown source’ picture above really is true. MadeFromBeauty really has been an adventure and a half. In one month I’ve gone from having no online presence to this here blog you’re taking the time to skim read. They’re have been highs, like gaining 68 readers from all across the globe in one day.
And there have been lows, trying to be enthusiastic about an eyeshadow at four in the morning because I was too busy tweeting to write earlier.
The support and just plain old cheering on my readers and family have given me has been overwhelming. It might seem over the top, but each comment, like or follow really is another step of the journey, the adventure that’s taking me to one badass blog.
I have loved creating content for everyone each and every day. The buzz of having to get a post up because someone somewhere will want to have a quick glance is exciting. Not to mention the new things I’ve been trying out, and that’s not just matte hot pink lips and glittery eyeshadow! But a little over a month ago I’d never taken my DSLR off of auto and wouldn’t have known how to put a box light together as much as the next person! But hey, now I do!
It’s been tough sometimes putting together a post from scratch when I’ve come home from a nine hour day at work. It has sucked having to cool my eyes down with eye drops because my makeup has come on and off my eyes too many times in half an hour. But I wouldn’t change it for the world!

Originally started as a way to natter on about the things I wanna natter on about, MadeFromBeauty has become my awesome like space of the internet where there are other awesome people to natter to. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
