For such a long time I had been seriously neglecting my hair. Whilst I still need to have my colour refreshed & a trim, I have at least recently been taking steps at home to help take care of my locks.
If you haven’t seen on my Instagram already, my blow-dry game has seriously stepped up a notch recently after the introduction of the Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer into my routine. I am absolutely made up with the dyer; it takes me half the time to dry my hair, at a lower temperature than before and has really been cutting down on frizz.
But it isn’t all just about the new tools in my collection that are helping my hair at the moment; it’s also been the products I have been using. First up, I have been using a mask & colour treatment to refresh my hair once a week. I have been using the Kérastase Reflection Masque Epais and Cool Blonde Touche Chromatique Duo for about a month now and can’t get over the results. Before using this duo my hair was dry, frizzy and difficult to manage. My blonde balayage has become to brassy and orange, I thought the only answer was a trip to the hairdressers. But after just one application not only was my hair smooth and shiny, but my lighter ends were magically cooler toned and glossy. You mix up a little of the Kérastase Reflection Masque Epais with ten pumps of the Cool Blonde Touche Chromatique for one treatment.
When it comes to drying my hair I have been using a couple of products from Design.ME Haircare that have really made a difference. I have been using the Powerdry.ME product to speed up my blow-dry. And you know what a shorter blow-dry means? Less heat damage = the holy grail of haircare! PowerDry.ME uses a microemulsion which forms a thin layer around the hair fibers, to allow hair to lay more smoothly, with less tangles to allow you to dry each strand quicker. For general hair care, I have been using the FAB.ME product to give my hair a little TLC.
