There are some things that every girl relies upon in her footwear choices to be easy to wear and mix and match with outfits, and a good pair of ankle boots are just that.
I have to say, I’m one very lucky girl, because these beautiful boots were a present from my partner (in crime) Josh. I’d been after a pair of black ankle boots with a heel for some time now. I have a little collection of flat ankle boots, they are my weakness when shopping as they go with everything, but a pair with a bit of a heel was no where to be found in wardrobe.
When I opened least little beauties up I was a bit cornered at how high they were, but thankfully they are actually very comfortable and easy to wear. I’ve found they are perfect for wearing during the day if I’m just hopping around town, but then they also double up as the perfect show for the winter evenings too.
The heel and sleekness of them (thank God there’s no unsightly cheap looking zips or clasps here) make them perfect to tuck black skinny jeans into like I’ve done for this look, or be worn with a skirt or dress to events.
I picked these out from the New Look selection on ASOS, but they have since disappeared from their site. You can now find them on the New Look website and in stores. Best bit? They’re now in the sale too! So if you like these you better move fast!

I love ankle boots, they go great with most of the clothing and they look fab. My favoutire one is from New Look too, but I got it last year. These boots are pretty, and plain black is classy. x
