It’s reined it in a bit this year on the Gift Guide front. I think lots of us are focusing less on buying this Christmas & thinking more about spending time with friends & family, as well as our impact on the environment around us. So in light of the slightly less consumerism-fuelled festive period; today I’m going to share just a few of my favourite Christmas beauty gifting picks. If, however, you are on the hunt for that perfect beauty gift for someone special then please check out my Gift Guides HERE from last year.
ION-Sei Patented Electric Toothbrush
One type of beauty gift I can always get behind is a good quality gadget. If you think gifting an electric toothbrush is a little cliché then the ION-Sei Patented Electric Toothbrush will make you think again. Not only is the toothbrush very chic (how often can that be said about something for your teeth?), but it is also the next generation of gentle but effective cleaning.
Molton Brown Orange & Bergamot Eau de Parfum
Gone are the days I would recommend a perfume gift set at Christmas. Now I always lean more towards quality & unusual scents such as the Molton Brown Orange & Bergamot Eau de Parfum. Molton Brown dropped a whole range of Eau de Parfum earlier in the year & boy are they beautiful.
Bed Head by TIGI Shiny Hair & Hair Texture Gift Sets
There really is a huge range of hair care gift sets available this season, so I wanted to pick something to show you that was focused on styling first. The Bed Head by TIGI gift sets this year are incredible value & come in lovely holographic bags. Check out THIS video to see how I use the products inside.
Philip Kingsley The Shine Saviours: Hydration & Shine Collection
You guys are going to be sick of the sight of Philip Kingsley on my Instagram & blog soon. But, when you love a brand as much as I love them, it’s hard not to keep sharing. Out of all the gift sets the brand have realised I would highly recommend the Hydration & Shine Collection as the most universal for all hair types.
Philip Kingsley Elasticizer Therapies Rose & Lychee Elasticizer
Brilliant gift. Buy it for anyone for hair. Ok, I’ll move on from Philip Kingsley now.
Aquis Lisse Luxe Hair Towel
The Aquis towels and turbans have been a staple of my gift guides for a long time & for good reason. Give someone the gift of smoother, healthier hair with this simple solution to a very real problem – matted hair. Oh & added bonus: they last for years, making them a brilliant gift.
Look Fantastic Beauty Box
Another regular on my Gift Guide lists of past & present are the Look Fantastic Beauty Boxes. If you gift a subscription, a single box or one of their incredible limited edition, brand focused boxes, any beauty lover will not be disappointed.
Color WOW Dream Big Box
Final haircare pick here; the Color WOW Dream Big Box. I just couldn’t get over the value of this set – it is outstanding! A great all-rounder hair care gift if you know someone who like to nourish, style & blow dry their hair.
Caudalie Luxury Vine Body Set
Caudalie & Christmas: they kind of go hand & hand for me. Every year this brand brings bigger & better gift sets, limited edition packaging & everything you need to make someone feel really special without breaking the bank.
Nivea Pampering Clay Collection Gift Set
Talking of not breaking the bank, the Nivea Pampering Clay Collection Gift Set is a brilliant affordable pick this Christmas. Not only is the collection affordable, but it is also fabulous for head to toe & comes in a delightful grey makeup bag. Brilliant to see Nivea creating grownup but not boring gift sets.
Dermalogica Body Hydrating Cream & Conditioning Body Wash
What was I just saying about grownup but not boring? That would be one way to describe the Dermalogica Body Hydrating Cream & Conditioning Body Wash duo. Another way would also be luxurious gifting at its best. The brand have done away with over the top Christmas packing & have instead added chic Christmas tags for an understated kinda cool.
Nuxe Nourishing Skincare Rêve de Miel
And finally if it is body care you’re gifting this Christmas I would really recommend checking out Nuxe. I wasn’t too in love with any of the brands Christmas sets so I would say head straight to their incredible selection of individual products. Luxurious formulas without the hefty price tag.
Well that’s it for another year, another gift guide over & one more mince pie down. See you in the New Year!
