Take one look into my skincare collection & you’d know instantly I have an addiction. From double cleansing, to jade rolling and gua-sha-ing my face even sat at my desk; skincare is a bit of a hobby for me.
The problem with this addiction/hobby (a ‘hobby’ is a nicer way of looking at it isn’t it?), you ask? Well, if I told you how much that collection added up to you’d quite rightly tell me I’m crazy & I should be squirrelling away my money for something with more substance – like say a house deposit maybe?!
So in my desperate attempt to curb my spending on beauty, I’ve been in search of more affordable lotions & potions. Which is why I took a huge sigh of relief when Alessandra Steinherr announced her new collaboration with Primark. That’s Alessandra Steinherr, A.K.A @alexsteinherr, A.K.A beauty influencer & titan of skincare social media.
The collaboration couldn’t have come at a better time for my poor bank balance & before long I had picked up a huge selection from the line in search of that covetable glowy skin.
This range majors on hyaluronic acid and A+’s on formulas – watch out highstreet!
My first favourite has to be the lightweight Serum-in-Cream. This formula blends hyaluronic acid with natural extracts of pink pomelo and centella asiatica to leave your skin smooth and hydrated with a healthy, dewy glow. That’s a tick, tick, tick on the skincare report card!
Next up, a product I didn’t know I needed until it fell into my basket; the Facial in a Stick. At only £5 this little one-hit-wonder had be be worth a sort. The stick both removes makeup & hydrates, either at the bathroom sink or on the go.
Another product my skin had been crying out for recently was the Anti-Blackhead Stick (again only £5). The stick is marvellous at drawing out dirt & bacteria away from skin, without being too stripping or aggravating.
Then for the piece de resistance of the range; the Every Night Eye Mask! Yours for the bargain price of only £4, it instantly smoothes the eye area & reduces puffiness in a flash.

I have been so happy with the products I picked up & would highly recommend it if you’re in the market for an affordable skincare line that works (unlike THIS monstrosity from one of the darling Kardashian – Jenner’s due to hit the shelves soon).
