Every now & then, we all dream about winning a fortune, don’t we? I would say I let myself drift off into dream world more so at Christmas than any other time of the year! Whether it’s being able to spoil a loved one, or wave the day job goodbye for a couple of weeks; there’s lots I’d like to do with family & friends at this year of year if money wasn’t an object. Today I’m sharing my dream Christmas, if I became a millionaire overnight!
Time Together
My first priority would be to make sure that I was able to have all my family & friends with me for at least a full week around Christmas. I would do everything I could to help the people close to me out with their finances, so they were able to take time out to really enjoy the festive season.
A Short Christmas Break
Where better to get into the festive spirit than Lapland? I would take the whole family to meet Santa in his hometown. Staying in snow igloos & picture perfect lodges; I would make sure the whole experience was perfect withsnowmobiles, tobogganing & a traditional sleigh ride pulled by Santa’s faithful reindeer.
The Ultimate Christmas Retreat
Next I would jet everyone back to the UK to head to our ultimate Christmas retreat in the country. I would hire a stately home for at least three weeks, so everyone could come & enjoy some time away.
Decoration
I would hire a team of decorators to transform the stately home into a magical Christmas retreat. I imagine real Christmas trees in every room, glittering lights, huge garlands on every staircase & a rocking horse for the kids.
A Christmas Feast
I would hire a team of caterers to lavish my guests with the most delicious, festival culinary treats all throughout the Christmas & New Year period.
Gifts
If I had won a fortune, now would really be the time to spoil my loved ones. I would select gifts for everyone that I have always dreamed of giving them. Not forgetting to grab myself a Channel Classic Flap handbag as a gift for myself too!
