How I'm Styling my Natural Curls

I’m sure a lot of you probably won’t know that I have naturally very curly hair. It has been years since I have worn my hair naturally curly, but recently I have changed this & started to reach for products to help enhance my natural curls.

When it comes to shampoo & conditioner, I have found that some products out there make my curls more frizzy or make them relax to a soft wave. No one wants frizzy hair, and at the minute, I am after products to help entice my natural curl out of hiding. Which is why I have been reaching for the SheaMoisture products. The brand is known for helping natural curls reach their maximum twirly, wryly goodness. In the past week I have been using the new Argan Oil & Almond Milk Smooth & Tame range from the brand.  This shampoo & conditioner range uses Argan Oil, Almond Milk and 100% Virgin Coconut Oil to help keep frizz at bay, restore moisture & smooth things out just a little – perfect for my natural hair.

I have also been exploring using the Shea Moisture Argan Oil & Almond Milk Smooth & Tame Blow Out Créme in my routine. I apply to my wet hair, after the shower, gently brush my hair (being careful not to disrupt my natural curls too much) before using my Dyson Supersonic Hairdryer with the diffuser attachment to bring my curls to life. I have also been using the Smooth & Tame Blow Out Créme when my hair is completely dry too. Although this isn’t quite what this product is intended for, I find that when my hair is curly it benefits from a slightly heavier cream to help smooth out the ends of my hair.

In this post, I am also wearing my new love; the Sammy Wrap Front Skater Dress from Pink Clove. I have been loving this brand recently for great plus size clothing finds!
