There are a lot of beauty products I am addicted to. Hairspray, fake tan, facial mists, dry shampoo…the list goes on. But probably the most addictive obsession of mine is concealer. I am constantly buying new formulas, testing them, wearing them, mixing them, I just can’t get enough. But, guys. I might have found it. I might have found the ultimate concealer. I know that’s a big statement, but I have that much confidence in this product I’m prepared to make it.
So what could this life changing product be, you might ask?
The Bareminerals BarePro 16-Hr Full Coverage Concealer.
This stuff rocks. One of the things I have learnt from years of hunting down my favourite concealer formula is that normally I am not the biggest fan of stick concealers. I have found that most of the time they are too dry, drag on the skin and generally make a mess of my foundation. Yet, the stick formula of the Bareminerals BarePro 16-Hr Full Coverage Concealer is unlike anything I have ever tried before.
The formula is rich, creamy, and super blendable, making it so easy to swipe on exactly where you want it. The other thing I have found from trying so many concealers over the years is that I normally have lots of different formulas for different areas of my face. Normally I am one for a liquid concealer under my eyes, a cream to cover blemishes and sometimes a stick to hid redness. Yet, the creamy, lightweight formula of the Bareminerals BarePro 16-Hr Full Coverage Concealer means I can use it on an area of my face without having to worry about it looking cakey or creasing under my eyes.
The other brilliant thing about the Bareminerals BarePro 16-Hr Full Coverage Concealer is that there are 15 shades, meaning it’s super easy to find your perfect shade. There are shades with more peachy tones to help cancel out darkness under the eyes and shades perfect for highlighting.
Probably the thing that has made this concealer really stand out from the rest for me is the high coverage. Despite it’s lightweight texture, the Bareminerals BarePro 16-Hr Full Coverage Concealer manages to effortlessly cover any blemish, all redness and darkness in the skin.
When it comes to staying power, like most formulas this concealer will last for longer if you powder it. If I leave the concealer without powdering I would say that the formula lasts about 4-6 hours before starting to breakdown and move. But, powdered? Well, that’s another story. This concealer will outlast my foundation, blush and bronzer by hours. I have worn the product for 15 hours at one time and it looked almost perfect when I went to take my makeup off.
