There really isn’t much more important than cleansing your skin for its health. Clear, soft, radiant skin starts with a good cleansing routine. I’ve been stepping up my skin cleansing recently to try to counter the blemishes & dryness I have been struggling with recently.

The first major thing that has changed in my routine is that I’ve started using a cleansing device. I’ve honestly been blown away at the difference in my skin from using a device instead of just my hands or a cleansing cloth to clean my skin. The SENSSE Go! Sonic Facial Cleansing Brush has been amazing for my skin. Leaving it soft & smooth, my skin is more radiant and clearer since working this device into my routine regularly. I’ve been using the cleansing brush with my Omorovicza Cleansing Foam, a product I’ve only recently fallen in love with. Before my love affair with my new cleansing brush I couldn’t ever get on with a flaming cleanser, but with the brush this product is perfect.

Another Cleanser formulation I wasn’t a huge fan of before was gel. Yet since picking up a mini of the Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel my mind has been well & truly changed. This silky, balm like gel gently cleans the skin without stripping it.

If you’re after a nourishing cleanser then I also have to recommend the Lacura Hot Cloth Cleanser. Much like the classic (and forever my favourite) Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish, the Lacura Hot Cloth Cleanser softly cleanses, whilst drenching the skin in rich moisture and leaving you with beautifully soft skin. Whilst I love the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish, and would probably recommend that product first, I have been very impressed by this dupe.

When my skin needs a good buff, I have been reaching for my Dermalogica Multivitamin Thermafoliant. This exfoliating cleanser is for hardier skin, as it is a little harsher, but my skin loves it. Wave bye bye to flakey skin, clogged pores or a dull complexion with this baby in your skincare arsenal.

How are you cleansing your skin at the moment? Let me know in the comments below.
