If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know I have been experimenting with my style a little more. Now the itch for different, new trends has started to slowly spread into my beauty choices too.

I’ve been getting more into colourful nail polishes by trying the brand new Caribbean Collection from professional nail lacquer brand All That Jazz. I hadn’t tried products from All That Jazz before, so I couldn’t wait to get stuck into this new, bright collection. The collection consists of four summery, glossy shades, perfect for dipping your toe into nail art or just getting your hit of really popping shades. All the shades are the perfect accompaniment to a tan or a summer straw bag.

First in the collection is Patty Cake, a stunning turquoise. Patty Cake (and can we just take a moment for the really cute Caribbean inspired names?!) is probably one of my most favourite shades in the collection because it is such a unique colour. Then there is Don’t Be a Jerky, this shade has become my ‘go-to’ pink in the warmer months. The shade has a small amount of sheen which is just enough to glisten in the sun – beautiful! Caribbean Queen is a royal purple, perfect for adding a splash of colour on the nails. Jamaican Me Crazy, which probably has the best name out of the lot, is a gorgeous hot pink; a classic summer shade.

I have to say that I was very impressed by the All That Jazz formula. As it is a brand I hadn’t tried before, when I opened my package to see so many bright colours I was worried they would come off streaky. If you regularly paint your nails then you’ll know that brights are notoriously hard to make well. Yet the All That Jazz polishes manage to glide onto the nails beautifully and are totally opaque in 2 coats. The lasting power of the range as a whole is good, with most colours lasting on my nails for between 3-5 days. For some reason I had a bit of a problem with the shade Caribbean Queen, as it chipped within the first day of wear. I’m not sure if this is a problem with the colour or if I was just having a bad nail day. The collection really does make it easy to experiment with new bold colours throughout summer & I would recommend them to anyone looking to spice up their nail look.

What do you think of the collection? Would you sport these brights? Let me know in the comments below.
