The Look Fantastic Beauty Egg Collection

Easter isn’t really a big thing in my family. We tend to buy each other Easter eggs, but that’s about it. Now, I’ll be honest; I’m not a huge chocolate fan. I know it sounds crazy, but I’ve just never had much of a sweet tooth. My vice is beauty. As a complete beauty junkie, makeup, skincare and haircare are the things that make my heart flutter! So when I saw that Look Fantastic were releasing The Beauty Egg, the ultimate beauty addicts Easter egg – I couldn’t wait to see what was inside!

Packed full of cult beauty products, from incredible brands, the huge box is the perfect Easter beauty treat. Housed in cute Look Fantastic eggs, wrapped in their own gold foil paper, are seven incredible beauty buys. So let’s jump into the products…

The first product is a full size of the Laura Geller Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator in Gilded Honey. I have wanted to try this product for so so so long! Gilded Honey is the most beautiful, golden shimmer highlight. It is perfect for adding that beam of light across the cheekbones. After trying this product out yesterday I have to say that it is the most finely milled highlight I have ever tried; it’s absolutely stunning! This full sized product is worth £21.

Next up is the Molton Brown Pink Pepperpod Body Wash. This cute deluxe sample size is a lovely addition to anyone’s shower. I love the Molton Brown body washes for always smelling incredible, they fill the whole room with fragrance and last all day on the skin. Pink Pepperpod is a lovely spicy patchouli mix. This product is worth £12.

When I unwrapped the Talika Lipocils Ink I couldn’t wait to get this product on my brows! Talika have invested 20 years of research into the most well thought out brow product I’ve ever come across. The ink gives you the ability to fill in your brows whilst dosing them up on the nourishment they need to grow. I can’t wait to give this product a test, and it is worth £20.

Now I’m in my mid 20s (cry face!) I am having to think more and more about adding anti-ageing products into my beauty routine. So when I saw a huge size of the Algenist Genius Ultimate Anti-Ageing Cream included in the box, I knew I was going to get some good use out of it. With Alguronic acid and nourishing oils in the formula, I can’t wait to watch this product work its magic! Worth £58.

Look Fantastic haven’t just thought about your skin, they have also included a product for targeted fine line help around the eyes. The Filorga Optim-Eyes Eye Contour Cream is worth £38 and is a beautiful eye cream. It’s unique complex will help fight dark circles (lord knows I need that!), fine lines and puffiness. I have tried some Filorga skincare in the past and have always been impressed by their quality and ingredients so I can’t wait to try this product out.

Makeup mavens will be pleased to know there is also a brilliant primer included. The full size, worth £32, Illamasqua Hydra Veil Primer is perfect for all skin types to hydrate under makeup and help foundation glide on. I love Illamasqua primers so can’t wait to add this product into my routine.

Finally Look Fantastic have also included a deluxe sample of one of my all time favourite products; the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer, except this one is in the limited edition fragrance neroli & geranium. I raved about my love for this product in THIS post, and I cannot wait to try out this Spring version!
