A Quick Update

There has been a lot going on with Made From Beauty recently, so I thought today is just write a little update post.

First thing I want to say is sorry about the lack of posts over the past week. I seemed to have got my groove back with posting, and everything was on a roll, then everything just went pear shaped.

I got a massive stye on my eye. It was horrible, my whole eye was red and swollen, it was painful to keep my eye open for a couple of days. Really nasty! Of course, this meant that makeup was completely off the menu for a good week.

So now we’ve cleared that up, let’s move on to happier things!Regular readers will have noticed (hopefully) a change in my photography. I have a little more free time at the moment, which means day light photos and more time devoted to Made From Beauty.

And this extra time has been paying off! In the past couple of weeks I’ve been in contact with three international brands. So this means in the near future there will be some posts popping up featuring PR samples and gifted items. If your an eagle eyed reader, you would have noticed a little extra page pop up on Made From Beauty; my Disclaimer page.

This is purely because I’ve reached a point with this blog that I am happy to work with the right brands, at the right time, to bring more to my readers.

I will say now though, that as my reader you are my number one. The only way I will ever work with brands and companies is honestly and transparently. So rest assured that if I bring to the table a post – I’ll also be bringing my big mouth!

Talking of working with people, my other piece of exciting news is that I have my very first guest blog post about to go live. I reached out to Suitcase Glory, after admiring their cute suitcases and seeing they were seeking contributing bloggers for their site. I’ve put together a little post, now I don’t want to spoil it, but let’s say there’s some beachy, sunny goodness coming! So, what else?

Well, I’ve been trailing some new skincare for Made From Beauty, including some bits and pieces from Indeed Labs and the famous Pixi Glow Tonic – so expect to see those products popping up in a review very soon.

Oh and the makeover…

That’s right. MadeFromBeauty.co.uk will be undergoing a huge makeover soon. The process will take around 7 days (some of which I might not be able to post on) but the changes will hopefully knock your socks off! I’ll let you know if there will be any site downtime, delays or disruption whilst the tech wizards work their magic.

Oh no wait, that’s what I didn’t say!

Made From Beauty hit 100 followers! On both WordPress and Bloglovin! I’m stunned!

When I started Made From Beauty I was pretty sure I’d be chatting away to myself. But with (to date) 118 WordPress followers, 136 Bloglovin’ followers, 640 Twitter followers and 402 Facebook Page likes, well…that’s a whole lotta ya!

I just want to say thank you so much, it means the world to me that you are reading and following Made From Beauty!
