I’m sharing another New In post today! There are so many exciting new products hitting the shelves at the moment. One brand that keeps bringing us new nail formulas is Barry M.
With their recent additions of the Sunset Nails and these new Speedy Quick Dry Nail Paints, Barry M are expanding their line of, already very popular, Nail Paints. If you missed my review of the new Sunset Nails range, recently released by Barry M, you can read that here.
The two shades I picked up from the Speedy Quick Dry range are Pit Stop – a milky grey, nude colour, and Eat My Dust – a white based polish with a hint of cornflower blue.Barry M have really the nail on the head with the Speedy Quick Dry name, with these polishes needing virtually no dry time. Once I moved from one hand on to the other, the first nail I painted was already dry! Seriously great for those of us who don’t want an at home manicure to take upwards of 30 minuets – been there!
Other than being very quick drying, the formula of these polishes is great. They apply easily, thanks to Barry M’s wide brushes, the nail polish is thin so you can easily build up the colour without things getting gloopy.
The shade Eat My Dust has been getting a lot of attention in the beauty community recently, and for good reason. I have nothing like it in my collection, it’s quite a unique colour. It’s white base means it’s great for making your hands look more tanned, without that Tipex sort of feel. The blue hint is perfect for summer nails that are both girly and chic at the same time.
Pit Stop is a very me colour, this nude grey I’ve been a fan of ever since I discovered Nails Inc’s Porchester Square – the mother of a whole host of this sorts of shades. Unlike Eat My Dust, which I would reserve for warmer weather, Pit Stop can be worn all year round. I am thinking of putting this one on my toes next, it’s a shade that you can wear with ease in summer sandals, as the colour will never clash with your outfit.
I found both colours needed about three coats to be opaque, but I honestly don’t mind this as each coat drys to quickly. I will definitely be looking out for more shades in this line, as I’m so impressed with the formula. And at only £3.99, with lots of 3 for 2 offers going on, you really can’t go wrong!
Will you be trying the Barry M Speedy Nail Paints? Or maybe you’ve already got your pinkies on them? Let me know in the comments below!

I’m a huge fan of these two, I love the formula and it’s so handy having polishes that dry so quickly :) I’m obsessed with eat my dust but I want to get pit stop now too.

Thank you for your comment Holly, they are a great drugstore find! X
I love both of these but pit stop does look gorgeous! I hate nail polishes that take ages to dry too, have you seen those helmies you put on your fingers to stop your nails getting messed up? I manage to mess mine up every single time because I’m so impatient !

They are pretty good polishes! I know how’s got time to wait around like it? Haha! No I hadn’t before, I just googled them, they look amazing! If they work? Have you tried them? x
