During the heat of summer last year, something appeared in the beauty world that none of us had really thought about before: hair perfumes. Now after mixing in the Balmain Silk Perfume into my routine, I must say I’m hooked. There’s nothing quite like a hair perfume. The cherry on top, the icing on the cake, it’s truly an amazing last step of luxury.
The sweet, almost powdery scent, with a touch of something else scent is to die for. It’s almost impossible to describe, but just trust me that its grown up, sexy, yet girly in its notes. The scent isn’t overpowering, or even that noticeable, but it gently releases when your hair moves throughout the day to give your locks a little bit extra freshness.
This product works as not only a gorgeous perfume, but also a finishing product that adds gloss to dull ends. The addition of oils, such as Jojoba seed oil, means you can spritz away to your hearts content and know that not only will you smell beautiful, but you’re also giving your hair a little bit of TLC.
Also, I know you shouldn’t pick products based on their packaging, but look at this bottle. Isn’t it stunning? Balmain has since updated the packaging of this product, but it is still equally a beautiful.
