I want to start by saying how sorry I am that I didn’t upload yesterday. I have been having so many frustrating computer issues. I have had to wipe my MacBook of everything and start again, and that hasn’t even fixed things! I also haven’t been very well… so excuses aside, let’s get into today’s post.
We are still working with my London haul, so I’m sharing just one item today because it’s that beautiful it deserves it!
One formula of lipstick I couldn’t wait to try out was the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Luminous Modern-Matte Long-Lasting Lipstick. I am such a lover of matte lipsticks, but it’s no secret that they can be so drying, so I am so excited to try this new formula. When I tried in store I was so happy to find that this lipstick felt really moisturising, despite the pretty matte finish.
I picked up the shade Love Liberty, and I can’t deny that was down to Lilly Pebbles and her vlogmas videos! The deep red with purple undertones works brilliantly with olive skin tones like mine and I can’t wait to pop this colour on from that squared off bullet!
One thing that I wasn’t expecting from this product is that packaging let down. Sure it’s beautiful, that rose gold Art Deco style bullet seems stunning, and perfect for photographing. However…I was so gutted when I first held this product…it’s plastic. Cheap, light plastic. As a huge fan of the YSL Rouge Volupté Lipsticks, which come housed in gorgeous, heavy metal, gold packaging, that kind of how I expected the Charlotte Tilbury ones to be.
I think really, considering the beautiful shade, we’ll forgive the packaging…
Let me know in the comments below if you have tried any Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks or if you would have picked up this shade too?

Haven’t tried her lipsticks yet but I’ve wanted to, but yes that’s a major let down that it’s plastic! I would never have guessed!
The matte formula she’s brought out is stunning! Such a shame about the packaging, not what I was expecting…
I have the shades Glastonberry and Very Victoria! Amazing matte formula indeed!
