Living in the UK, I do get my fair share of pretty good affordable makeup on the highstreet. But, as any makeup junkie will know, the American drugstore is the home of affordable quality makeup, and so there have been a few items on my wishlist for a while now. Today I thought I would share with you a few things I have lusting after. I am relying on my American readers here to tell me if they have tried these products and what they think! There’s a bit of a mixed bag here, so lets get going:
After being a regular viewer of Tati from GlamLifeGuru for a long time on YouTube, its probably unsurprising that this mascara is top of my list. Tati has raved about this mascara for years, resulting in me wanting this giant, green, metallic tube for longer than any other item on this list.
This palette has been all over YouTube and beauty blogs for a while now, and probably for good reason. Supposedly housing good quality matte shadows at a ridiculously affordable price. There’s no denying, just the amount of shades for just under $20 is pretty good bang for your buck already!
Another American drugstore eyeshadow formula I’m dying to try out has to be Wet ‘n’ Wild’s. Amazing value for money, and hundreds of shades to choose from!
I’m a sucker for a highly pigmented, thick gloss, so L.A Girl’s Glazed Lip Paint sounds right up my street!
Another Tati inspired entry to my wishlist here! The Jergens BB Body Perfecting Skin Cream seemed like the only product in the world I needed to make my skin look beautiful in the summer. Now it seems like distant wonder product I’ll never get my hands on!
A new one to my wishlist, the L’Oréal Visible Lift CC Cream seems like the perfect product for everyday wear. The L’Oréal Visible Lift foundation is already available in the UK and after trying out the medium coverage, moisture giving formula I can’t wait to give the CC Cream a go when it arrives on the hightstreet.
So this looks interesting! Whilst finding these products for my wishlist I stumbled across this new product from NYX. The shade Light looks like it houses two great coloured cream products from contouring and highlighting! Let me know if you’ve tried this yet? I haven’t seen any reviews anywhere?
I have heard a lot of American YouTubers recommend Essence lip products and these lipsticks are so affordable at only $2.99 a piece, I would be interested in giving them a go!
Now this may win for having the longest name for a bronzer ever, but is it any good? I have heard some amazing things about the Physicians Formula Bronze Boosting line, and this bronzer seems to be pretty popular. This picture is of the Deluxe Edition, which, for a drugstore item, is stunning.
In all colours please? I would love to get my hands on these blushers, they are a makeup lovers favourite and have become a famous American drugstore item. I recently wrote a post giving my thoughts on the new Max Factor Crème Puff Blushers that have just landed on the UK highstreet, and by all accounts they are pretty similar to these Milani blushers. Do I need both? Probably not, but that doesn’t stop we wanting them!
So, like I said before, I am counting on my American readers to give me their thoughts on these products. Are they worthy to be on the wishlist?
If you’re in the UK, would these be on your wishlist too? If not, let me know what you’d include in the comments below.
