Day to day there really isn’t any better hair tool than ghds for me. Although I’m trying to grow my hair, I must say I am guilty of using my ghds almost everyday, they’re addictive trust me! My hair is naturally quite frizzy and very curly so I often blow dry it straight to get rid of all those unwanted lumps and bumps. Here’s where I run into a problem, day in day out; I love to wear my hair down in loose curls or waves. So until I find a way to blow dry my hair into mermaid like waves, whilst still controlling the frizz, it’s to the ghds I turn.
Now I know that’s twice the heat and probably not very good for my hair, but hey, what are you going do to me?
I love my ghds as much as the next girl, but I do have one problem with them; when it comes to creating curls…they just don’t last. I can twist and iron and turn and pull my hair into perfect curls and then ten minutes later my hair’s flat and almost straight again. This has happened far too many times for my liking so I decided about a month ago I wanted a curling wand…so I could curl my hair that I’ve just blow dried straight…I know. I bumbled around the market, checking out all the latest innovations, and decided I didn’t want a wand with a clip as I wanted to alternate my curls easily, but that didn’t narrow things down too much.
That’s when I stumbled across the TRESemmé 2804BU Volume Curl Wand. I had previously used the wand at my girl friends when getting ready for a night out and honestly, my curls lasted all night! Remembering how great my hair looked that night I couldn’t resist giving the wand a go for myself!
I am yet to use it but I can’t wait, keep an eye out for some cute curly hairstyles to come!
Let me know in the comments below if you have used the TRESemmé 2804BU Volume Curl Wand and your thoughts. If not, do you have any curling wands you would recommend?
