New In: Maybelline Baby Lips Winter Delight in Hot Cocoa

Made From Beauty Maybelline Baby Lips Winter Delight in Hot Cocoa

Made From Beauty me wearing Maybelline Baby Lips Winter Delight in Hot CocoaTo be honest, I haven’t been able to really get behind the whole Baby Lips/Baby Skin ranges from Maybelline. I’ve tried a few in the past and been really disappointed with their performance, so I can’t explain why I decided to pick up the Maybelline Baby Lips Winter Delight in Hot Cocoa. Maybe it was the cute packaging (come on…there’s even mittens on the tube) but, at only £2.99 I couldn’t see the harm in giving these budget balms one more go. View Post

Mascara Menu: The New Revlon Mascaras

Made From Beauty New Revlon Mascaras 2016At the beginning of this year, Revlon made a bold move. Probably the boldest move a highstreet makeup brand has made in a long time: they discontinued all of their mascara formulations and relaunched a whole new mascara menu.

Personally, I really love this move, I had never found an amazing mascara from Revlon before, so the idea of 5 brand new formulas, for 5 different looks, was welcome to this beauty addict! View Post

New In: Bourjois Air Mat Foundation

DSC_0057It’s been a while since I’ve shared a good old foundation love on Made From Beauty. If, like me, you love a good drugstore base, then today my friend, you’re in for a treat!

I’ve been using the Bourjois Air Mat Foundation for a few weeks now and I have to say I’m in love! First can we just appreciate the packing? Bourjois seem to kinda nail it with their foundation packaging and this product is no exception. The sleek, plastic bottle is light and small enough to fit comfortably into a makeup bag – something I find a lot of foundations don’t do! View Post

New In: The Liz Earle Limited Edition Cleanse & Polish in Sweet Orange & Mint

DSC_0080I have, like thousands of women all over the world, been a fan of the Liz Earl Cleanse and Polish for many years. It was, like lots of beauty lovers my age, one of my first steps into ‘real’ skincare. I felt like a grown up slathering the thick cream cleanser all over my damp face, washing away the heavy black liner and matte foundation (it was the early 2000’s after all).

Sometimes with firm favourites, with new releases to the beauty world, the same old cleanser can get a little boring and so it has been a long time since I’d picked up a tube. So as I was mulling around Boots last week doing my Christmas shopping (I suggest staying at home, buy everything on the internet, the crowds were horrendous!) this limited edition Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser in Sweet Orange & Mint took my fancy.
