Blogger Event: Valentines Day with Dior

Made From Beauty Blogger Event: Valentines Day with DiorOccasionally an email pops into my inbox that is really really exciting. As a new blogger (Made From Beauty only recently turned one, check out the post here) I’m always looking for new events to attend and new people to connect with, so opening my inbox to find an invitation from West Quay Southampton to an exclusive Dior Valentines Day Event…well, it doesn’t get much better than this!

With pink champagne flowing, we were treated to an exclusive look at some of Dior’s most beautiful backstage products and secrets. Our wonderful expert, Gemma, was on hand to talk us through looks perfect for Valentines Day, like the classic smokey eye with taupe shades and healthy, glowing skin. View Post

Photo Diary: Wintery Walk in Lymington

DSC_0052I’m loving chilly winter walks recently. There’s something lovely about getting all wrapped up and pottering about in the local highstreet or somewhere you’ve never been before.

So last week Josh and I went on a little winter adventure to the local town of Lymington. I have family that live in the sea side town, so although I know my way around very well, Josh has never been there before. It was fun being able to show him all the different places I remember going to as a child, the pubs I’d drank in with friends, the cute shops that I’ve always loved and the ever changing highstreet. Blogger Event: Ruma Salons

Made From Beauty Ruma Salons SignsI think it’s important to take a little time to pamper yourself; but sometimes the distractions of home, stress of kids or partners and work all get in the way. So having a place to go that feels luxurious, away from any stress, with lovely people sounds like heaven, right? View Post

Photo Diary: Fireworks Spectacular at Beaulieu in the New Forest

DSC_0049Last weekend my family took a little evening trip to e in New Forest to watch the Fireworks Spectacular.

Living very close (practically in it) to the New Forest, going to Beaulieu and the motor museum was a pretty regular thing in my childhood. I also worked for nearly two years at the museum, and so I’ve had the pleasure of going to the firework display many times, but this time I thought I’d take my camera along to share the night with you all.
