If you’ve been a reader of Made From Beauty for a little while, you might remember this Tuesday Talks post when I wrote about the importance of having as many adventures as possible. I’m still very passionate about what I said in that post and so when mine and Josh’s four year anniversary rolled around, we thought it was about time to embark on a mini adventure.
We choose to go to Brighton because I’ve always wanted to wander The Lanes and along its huge beach, Josh loves a spot of vintage shopping, and we couldn’t wait to get stuck in to some tasty Brighton food too! View Post
As a new Southampton blogger, I’m still finding new events to attend, so when Lush Southampton contacted me in the same week that Dior did (you can read my post about that fab night here) I jumped at the chance to attend another beauty event to share with you guys here on Made From Beauty.
I took my time trying out the new Lush products on the night, so I just thought I’d share with you my photos of the event and save the products kindly gifted to me for a future post.
Occasionally an email pops into my inbox that is really really exciting. As a new blogger (Made From Beauty only recently turned one, check out the post here) I’m always looking for new events to attend and new people to connect with, so opening my inbox to find an invitation from West Quay Southampton to an exclusive Dior Valentines Day Event…well, it doesn’t get much better than this!
With pink champagne flowing, we were treated to an exclusive look at some of Dior’s most beautiful backstage products and secrets. Our wonderful expert, Gemma, was on hand to talk us through looks perfect for Valentines Day, like the classic smokey eye with taupe shades and healthy, glowing skin. View Post
I’m loving chilly winter walks recently. There’s something lovely about getting all wrapped up and pottering about in the local highstreet or somewhere you’ve never been before.
So last week Josh and I went on a little winter adventure to the local town of Lymington. I have family that live in the sea side town, so although I know my way around very well, Josh has never been there before. It was fun being able to show him all the different places I remember going to as a child, the pubs I’d drank in with friends, the cute shops that I’ve always loved and the ever changing highstreet.
