As a complete beauty addict I carry a lot of beauty things with me on a daily basis. I think most of us chuck our lipstick we’re wearing that day, or pop in a face powder. But I have some products in my collection that are made for on-the-go. They have awesome packaging to make sure they don’t pop open all over the inside of your favourite handbag, or they are perfect for giving you options for different looks when you’re out and about. Along with cleaning my brushes, there is one beauty chore that I really can’t stand; tanning. As someone with a pretty pasty complexion and a distinct lack of real rays I’m always looking for fuss-free ways to boost my faux glow and get skin ready to face the cold light of day as the weather improves in the UK. In my first few months of blogging I put together a post on how to try beauty products for free (you can read it HERE) and in that post I talked about free gifts with magazines. I absolutely love trying new products, which can get expensive from time to time, so being able to get my dose of beauty newness with a side of fashion info is just the kind of treat I need from time to time.
Now it’s been a couple of years since I have been at uni, but beauty wise, I still use lots of the products I fell in love with back then. In today’s post I’m going to talk through those products that are great for perking you up after a heavy night, the ones that will see you through exam season and those that are just too affordable to miss when you’re working with a student budget.
