I am by no means a neat-freak. They say that creative people are often messy & that couldn’t be more true when talking about me. I do, however, try to keep my beauty stash in order. There’s nothing worse than the never ending hunt for a hairband, or going through endless makeup bag after makeup bag for a bobby pin! So, recently I have developed a little bit of a ‘thing’ for beauty storage. It was fairly easy to find makeup organisers, and lipstick display-ers; but when it comes to hair tool storage…there’s not a lot out there. What I really needed was something to keep everything together. So imagine my excitement when I found the Minky Premium Styling Dock!
This nifty, heat-resistant caddy has room for all your hair tools, hair ties & clips; all in one ever so neat place! The first amazing thing about this bit of must-have kit is that you can store straighteners, a hairdryer & curling tools all in one place. Before trying this dock out, I had a different heat tool stuffed in draws all over my house. This meant that I had actually stopped using my curling tong as I couldn’t be bothered to find it every time I went to style my hair.
The next thing that this dock does brilliantly is to store all of your tools’ cables away perfectly. I feel like my life is spent fighting with cables sometimes, so finding a dock that puts an end to this is great. You can wrap your cords up easily at the back of the unit – keeping your dressing table all neat & tidy.
I am also a huge fan of the Minky Premium Styling Dock’s removable accessory pots! These are brilliant for storing clips & bobbles that always manage to go on the walkabouts. I have also found that I keep my hairbrush in my dock most of the time too; meaning I can quickly start getting to work on my mane in the morning!
