Conscious Beauty Christmas Gift Guide

Being more conscious with my beauty shopping is something I am working on. Thankfully; there is now so much choice from conscious, sustainable & cruelty-free brands on the market. So here is my roundup of the best conscious beauty buys this Christmas…

Neal’s Yard:Cruelty free. Certified organic.

I had to include the beautiful stocking filler from Neal’s Yard in this gift guide. The One Pot Wonder Wild Rose Beauty Balm Gift  would make a perfect cruelty-free, organic gift this Christmas.

Aureila:Cruelty-Free. BioOrganic. Partners with not-for-profit organisations. Recyclable packaging. Made in the UK.

After trying the products in the Night Time Radiance Collection from Aureila, I have become a huge fan of the brand. As high quality, cruelty-free, luxury skincare goes, I don’t think you could get better than Aureila. Inside the beautiful beauty bag you’ll find deluxe sample sizes of the Miracle Cleanser with bamboo muslin cloth, the Refine & Polish Miracle Balm, the Revitalise & Glow Serum, the Cell Repair Night Oil, the Cell Revitalise Night Moisturiser, the Calming Botanical Essence & the Aromatic Repair & Brighten Hand Cream.

Caudalie:Part of the “1% for the Planet” movement & donates 1% of its global sales to NPOs that work to protect the environment.0% Parabens, phenoxyethanol, ingredients of animal origin, mineral oils, irritating and polluting agents.

There many Caudalie gift sets I have totally fallen in love with this year, but my favourite has to be the Christmas Cracker including the Micellar Cleansing Water, the Vinosource SOS Thirst Quenching Serum& the Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet.

RosehipPLUS:Certified organic. Vegan. Palm Oil free. Recyclable packaging.

For organic, vegan, conscious products there aren’t many brands better out there than RosehipPLUS. Pop picks include: the Organic Daily Cream Cleanser, the Hydrating Day Cream& the Nourishing Night Cream all perfect stocking fillers!

Beauty Kitchen: 100% natural ingredients. Sustainable packaging. Gives 2% of all sales to charity. Made in the UK.

If you’re in the market for totally natural beauty, then you have to check out Beauty Kitchen. In the Sustainable Beauty Celebrations 4 Pack you’ll find deluxe samples of the Seahorse Plankton 5 Minute Miracle Mask, the Seahorse Plankton Beauty Boosting BB Cream, the Abyssinian Oil Facial Moisture Cream& the Free From Wonder Balm.  Another great buy from the brand is the Natruline Lip Treatment, a 100% natural, 0% petroleum lip treatment.

Jurlique:Free recycling program for all packaging.

I am a little disappointed with this offering, but it is my fault. When I was sourcing products for this post, I simply assumed that Jurlique was cruelty free. However, after researching, I have found that they do test their products on animals for the Chinese market. But with that in mind; the Jurlique Hand Care Collection Gift Set is an incredible set, including gorgeous products & the brand is working to improve its global impact with a free recycling program for customers.

Aveda:Recycled packaging.

Much like the Jurlique gift set I have featured in this guide, I assumed that Aveda was a cruelty-free brand, however as the company sells their products in China they are not. I will say however; Aveda have a lot of information on their website about community projects they support & how they are trying to reduce their impact on the environment – so could do more, but not all bad. Inside the Aveda Styling Cracker you’ll find the Texture Tonic, the Pure Abundance Style Prep, the Thickening Tonic & the Blow Dry Accelerator.

A’Kin: Paraben, sulphate, toxin, animal ingredient & harsh chemical free. Certified vegan. Cruelty free.

A’Kin is one of best conscious beauty brands I have ever tried. Not only can you guarantee that the products you are buying are good for you & the environment, but they are also some of the best quality products out there. The Moisture Rich Miracle Facial Trio Gift Set contains 3 full size products; the Nourishing Cream Cleanser, the Rose Mist Toner& the Rosehip Oil Facial Moisturiser.

Dr. Hauschka: Cruelty free. Mostly organic ingredients.

Dr. Hauschka is a brand I hadn’t tried much from before, but the Lemongrass Body Experience Gift Set has made sure I am quickly becoming a huge fan. The set is luxurious without being over the top.

Balance Me:Cruelty free. Free from parabens, dea, mineral oils, sulphates, pegs, petroleum, silicones, propylene glycol, microbeads, artificial fragrances & colours.

There is a lot that isn’t in Balance Me products, like sulphates & silicones, which means they have lot of room for the good stuff. The Hand, Lip & Eye Collection from the brand is one of my favourite sets this year.

Kure Bazaar: Eco-natural, non-toxic formula. 85% of ingredients from natural origin.

Kure Bazaar create the closest thing to natural nail polish that you can get, with 85% of ingredients from natural origin. The I Heart You Set is a beautiful set for the festive season including the shades: Cherie –  a deep, classic red shade, Or Pur – a metallic gold shade,  Love – a bright pop of red shade.

Weleda:Cruelty free. Fair trade. Biodynamic cultivation.

Weleda might be one of the best brands to buy from in terms of making conscious beauty choices. The Weleda Blissful Recuperation Gift would make a brilliant gift to introduce someone to the brand, including the blissful Arnica Muscle Soak.

Nude by Nature:Cruelty free. 100% natural derivedingredients. Free fromSilicone, Siloxanes, Phthalates, Sulphate, PEGS, Triclosan, Phenoxyethanol, Parabens, Carmine, Talc & Bismuth Oxychloride.

When you try Nude by Nature products, it can be hard to belive they are actually made from 100% naturally derived ingredients! The Luster 3 Piece Nude Lip Collection would be my pick of their gift sets this year; simply stunning!

Beatitude:100% natural ingredients. Cruelty free.

Candles are one of my weak spots around the festive period & finding an all natural product can actually be quite difficult. The Christmas Comfort candle from Beatitude uses uplifting citrus oils blended with festive spicy oils for the ultimate Christmas experience!
