Why I love My ghd's

My number one tool for hair styling has to be my ghd’s. For me there is no other tool that is so simple to use, can easily create any desired look and looks great on my dressing table.

If you’ve been a reader of Made From Beauty for a while, you’ll know that my love affair with ghd’s is a long running one. For my sixteenth birthday my Nan brought me my very first pair of these hair straightening, curling, de-frizzing magical wands. I know from talking to friends too that I am not the only one who loves their ghd’s. I know waving a curling can be a bit of a pain to get the hang of, (you can check out this simple tutorial HERE for a closer look) but once you do – you won’t look back!

The quickest way I have found to create a natural looking wave and curl is to lightly curl my hair all in one direction. This way the hair lays naturally and smoothly. I like to curl mine away from my face, so that I don’t have that sticky-lipgloss-hair problem most long haired girls will know all too well! I then make sure that I leave the ends of my hair out of the curl and even run my ghd’s over the ends to create a more beauty, effortless texture.

As someone with seriously fluffy, frizzy hair I wouldn’t even dream of trying to straighten my hair without my ghd’s. Although I don’t often go for the poker straight look nowadays, my ghd’s are undoubtably the best beauty tool for the job.

Ghd’s do, unfortunately, come with one downside; the price. If you purchase your ghd’s on the first site you come by you might be missing out on a bargain. I would highly suggest heading over to a discount site like Latest Deals before purchasing to see if you can grab a nice little discount! On the site at the moment there are some brilliant deals on GHD stylers and hair dryers, so perfect if you are looking to up your hair game.

Are you a long time ghd fan too? Or maybe there are another type of tool I should check out for hair styling? Let me know in the comments below!
