DSC_0012If you saw my Morning Skincare post, you’ll know I’m a huge fan of skincare. Whilst my first post about my daily routine was packed full of goodies, I promise, it’s the evenings that the real skincare party starts!

First, I always remove my makeup with the Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm. I’ve talked about this balm a few times here on Made From Beauty and that’s because I really really love it. It removes all makeup, including waterproof mascara with no fuss, not tugging or pulling at the eyes, whilst soothing and nourishing the skin. I remember the first time I used this product, back about two years ago now – it was like I hadn’t ever washed my face before using it. My skin was so smooth and felt ridiculously clean but without that stripped, tight feeling. If you haven’t tried this cleansing balm I highly recommend it!

Next up I go in with a toner. Normally it would be the Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist, but as my skin has been playing up a little recently, I’ve opted for the Pixi Glow Tonic. Since adding this little beauty into my routine my skin has been brighter, clearer and so much smoother. Now that its a regular in my routine, I’m not sure if I would go back to my beloved Alpha H Liquid Gold. Although I love Liquid Gold, I’d actually say that the Glow Tonic is just as good and around half the price. Have you tire both? Which would you choose?

After toning my skin, I follow up with my serum. At the moment I’m using the Trilogy CoQ10 Booster Serum; I’m still not sure about it yet. Although its lovely to apply, much more like an oil than a serum, I’m not overly sure its doing much for my skin. I have used other serums in the past, like the Clinique Custom Smart Serum, and seen results very quickly. However this Trilogy number hasn’t made a huge difference to my skins brightness, plumpness or clarity. So overall, I’m happy to continue to use it, however I am unsure if I’d repurchase.

Then onto my eye cream; the Kiehls Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado. If you’re looking for lots and lots of hydration then look no further. This Kiehls eye cream is probably one of the heaviest on the market, but thats just why I like it for nighttime. I slather it on and then in the morning I wake with plump undereyes that look healthy and radiant.

To top everything off, I pop on a little of my Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Cream. As there’s quite a lot going on on my face with all the other products, I like this moisturiser to just seal everything in with a hit of hydration.

So what is your evening skincare hero product? And have you tried any of the products I’ve mentioned in this post? let me know in the comments below!
