Vintage Homeware Shopping at Molly's Den Winchester

If you read my Bedside Beauty post a little while back, you’ll know how excited I was to get such a cute bedside table for a bargain price. In search for my bedside table and other bits of furniture for around the flat Mum and I went to a few vintage shops and today I wanted to share the day and the piece I picked up.

Living in Romsey, the best place nearby to pick up beautiful, affordable vintage finds is Molly’s Den in Winchester.

Set back on an out of town industrial estate, Molly’s Den wouldn’t be somewhere you’d just pop in to, but I’d heard a lot of good things about the treasure trove, and let me tell you – it was worth the trek!

I love digging through rooms and rooms of vintage and antique items to find the gem I’m after, so Molly’s Den was like heaven to me. The place was massive, comprising lots of different sellers from all over the country in one place. There was furniture, clothing, ornaments, road signs, repurposed items, everything your little heart vintage desires!

Mum and I spent a good three hours searching through everything, but you could easily make it a full day with lunch in their adorable cafe, sitting in the sun!

I managed to be very good and come away with only one thing, this plant stand. I’d been looking for something like this, to paint white of course, to help finish the living room.
