The Glam Guide Cover PhotoSo I was very lucky about a month ago to win a little Twitter competition for a signed copy of Fleur de Force’s Glam Guide and a couple of Rimmel products, which I’ll be reviewing soon.

There have been quite a few YouTube books sprung on the market recently, especially from beauty bloggers. However, I haven’t been really excited for any of them, not enough to shell out my hard earned money for unauthentic products (lets not even talk about the Zoella fiasco). That was until Fleur’s vlogmas

The Glam Guide Signed PageI’ve been a fan of Fleur for years, but after the rumors and gossip about Youtuber’s I was a little unsure who to trust, then I saw Fleur share with us the actual process of her writing The Glam Guide. It’s easy to forget, between all the products and film premiers, that Youtuber’s like Fleur are just women making videos. When she started chatting to us about her writing, just hanging out on her bed, worrying about the pressures of the chapter deadlines, I knew The Glam Guide was a book I wanted to pick up.

The Glam Guide Makeup PageWhen the book came out I was a little strapped for cash, so it went onto the wishlist.

Whilst on Twitter, I thought I might as well take part in the competition and then by the end of the week I had found out I’d won!

The Glam Guide Fashion PageThe book is crammed full on makeup, beauty, hair, fashion and lifestyle tips and tricks. I especially can’t wait to get into the health and fitness sections! If you’re following me on Twitter or Instagram, you’ll know I’ve made some changes recently!

Who else has picked up The Glam Guide? And who’s read it yet? I’d love to know what you think!
