The Lip Liners CoverLip liners might not be the most exciting makeup product out there, but it’s having a bit ifs moment in the beauty community. With so many YouTubers and bloggers picking up the long forgotten pencils, I thought it was about time I got on and tried some out.First I was convinced that I needed the Charlotte Tilbury liner in Pillow Talk, a nude option – a good place to start. But when I heard about Amelia Liana raving about Rimmels Exaggerate liner in Eastend Snob being a complete dupe, I picked it up straight away. And I can say from first application, I was in love!

Lip liners really aren’t the sort of product many people get excited about, nor are they the most beautiful products out there. Saying that, since stepping into the liner world, I can’t give up now!

In the past I’d used liners from many different brands, and just not found anything I really liked about them. That was until I tried these!

Let me break it down:

Firstly the way they apply! They are a twist up, thank god no sharpening! They also have a slanted cut to them, rather than a point. This makes it really easy to quickly line the lips, as it hugs your lip and allows you to crate a fluid outline.

Secondly it’s the formula! These are seriously creamy, smooth textured and plumping. They have pretty good staying power, about four hours, even though their creamy formula makes them a dreamy to apply. The almost milkiness of the colours means they are easy to wear, no harsh lip line around these parts!

I’ve just been loving lip liner to give me a fuller appearance to my lips, using a darker one at the outter corners and a lighter one in the centre to give the illusion of a bigger pout. I also have an uneven lip line on my top lip, so I like to use a shade like Eastend Snob to help me really carve out the shape I want.

What do you think of these liners? Are you even a liner kinda girl? Let me know below!
