Tanya Burr Lashes OverviewSo I finally got my hands on the Tanya Burr lashes. I am one of those unapologetically hysterical girls who love YouTube culture. Hang on a minute, lets just get a handle on that statement: I am not one of those screaming fan girls who queues for hours (I grew out of that some time in late 2005) but I am someone completely in awe of the achievements of YouTubers and their management companies. I am in fact, young enough to remember life before YouTube, when celebrity beauty product endorsement was mainly circulated in Smash Hits magazine, but still just young enough to appreciate the YouTuber take over of internet entertainment.

Because of this slight idealisation of YouTubers like Tanya Burr I have, like the sad young woman I am, I refused to buy the Tanya Burr lashes on feelunique like any other normal fan. I wanted to walk into my local Superdrug, pick them up and buy every (well almost every) style straight from the aisle. In some way it my own way of congratulating Tanya Burr, buying her product from an actual shop, from my actual highstreet, with my actual hands.

So when that moment came, conveniently just around payday, I did go a little crazy. I picked up Tanya’s lashes in Date Night, Girls Night Out, Individual Lashes, Bambi Eyes and Everyday Flutter styles.

I am most excited about wearing the Everyday Flutter corner lashes after seeing Amelia Liana rave about them for weeks. I think I’ll save them for Valentines Day. Also the Girls Night Out lashes look right up my street!

Another style I was super excited about trying was Bambi Eyes. Not my typical choice of lashes they are long, flared, doll-like lashes. I usually prefer lashes that wing out at the outer corner, much like the Girls Night Out lashes. However I loved the effect that the Bambi Eyes gave, as they really opened up my eyes with their rounded shape.

This picture doesn’t show it off very well, but I am wearing a stunning, unbelievably cheap eyeshadow on my lids that I’ll be sharing in the coming week with you all!

I am excited to keep trying out these lashes, and can see myself being tempted to add some of the individual lashes to my everyday look! Let me know in the comments below if you have tried the Tanya Burr lashes and if so, what were your favourites?
