Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush Exposed

Just a quick post today, been rushing around trying to finish of the behind the scenes stuff of MadeFromBeauty (including maybe a step into the Youtube world) working full time, and trying to hold down some sort of normality despite my living room being full of products to be photographed and very large box lights! But all that aside, I am in love with this product so much that I had to quickly share my thoughts.

I picked up the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush in Exposed in my first Sephora haul and despite paying over the odds for it (don’t even talk to me about Sephora’s shipping costs) I have loved this blush from day one. It is the perfect pink-mauve, barely-there colour that compliments almost very skin tone. Unfortunately this will not show up on dark skin tones, but for those of us who are pale and…interesting, this will work perfectly on you.

It is a great choice for everyday use, lasts long on the cheeks, maybe not 12 hours, but a long time, whilst still adding a pop of colour that blends into the skin beautifully. My favourite way to wear Exposed though, and the way I have found it really comes into its own, is with a bright lip. Often wearing a bright lip we are told to match the tone of our lip colour to that of our cheek, but even that, I find can sometimes look over done. So then you go down the bare cheeks route, which some of us might be able to carry off, but not me. I need that added colour in my cheeks to stop reds, pinks, oranges and peaches washing me out and that, my friends, is exactly when Exposed makes you realise how beautiful it really is.

Let me know in the comments below if you have ever used any of the Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush’s, I am hankering after some different shades!
